Volleyball is a ball game played on a volleyball court with a 2.43 meter high net in the middle. There are two teams playing against each other with six players each. You mostly use your hands to hit the ball on each side of the net, where the goal is to make the ball touch the ground on the opponent's side.

You are allowed to use other parts of the body to hit the ball, except when serving. Each team can only touch the ball three times before it is over the net. To win a volleyball match, a team must win three sets, with the first four sets played to 25 points. A fifth crucial set is played only to 15 points. To win a set, you also need to have two points more than the opposing team. Volleyball is a popular sport that can be played all year round. Both small and large volleyball tournaments are held.
