4H is a nationwide organisation with approx. 15,000 Norwegian youth members, distributed in local chapters across the country. The goal of 4H is to develop active, responsible youth who are involved in the community and show respect for nature and human beings. 4H is a non-denominational, non-political, non-profit organisation. Its core values are: clear head, warm heart, clever hands and good health.

As a member of 4H, you can participate in many different activities, both outdoors and indoors, all year around. In 4H, you can meet new friends, learn about plants and animals, join others for hikes, trips, courses and camps, in your local community, throughout the country or abroad. Clubs may play volleyball, put on theatre performances, or go climbing. Others may go on mountain hikes or fishing trips. As a member of 4H, YOU can help decide the type of nature, cultural, health or community activities you would like to do.
