Idrettens hus – Notodden Sports and Athletics Centre – opened on 23rd September 2019. Jonny Pettersen, proud leader of Notodden Sports & Athletics Council said:

We call it the Sports & Athletics Centre, but it will be a venue for all voluntary clubs and organisations in Notodden. Creating synergy through each other's expertise because we have the Centre is perhaps the most important thing. So we’re saying come in, welcome there’s no charge, join us in our common cause!
