Motocross

A race is usually split into two segments, with up to 40 participants in a group start. Various flag signals are displayed to the contestants during the race, where red for example means stop and a yellow flag indicates danger, proceed with caution. Motocross demands physical strength and good co-ordination. There are a number of types of motocross, both on two wheels (MX) and four wheels. Freestyle motocross is an extreme indoor sport run on specially constructed tracks. Girls and boys may start at the age of five years.
