Litt om Hundesport

Working dog is the term given to a dog that has been trained to carry out useful and practical tasks. There are long traditions of dogs being used for herding and training dogs to pull a cart or sled. Nowadays dogs are also used to carry out many more tasks. Good examples of these are guide dogs, dogs working in public services and search and rescue dogs.

Dog clubs are for dog owners who want to compete in various activities with their dogs, to enrol their dogs in a variety of training courses or simply want to participate in social activities with their best friend. The clubs offer training and courses where dogs and their owners can develop a variety of skills, participate in shows, play, and engage in social activities. The majority of clubs offer most of these activities. Dog sports offer a broad and friendly social arena.
