On 5th July 2015 Notodden, together with Rjukan, was entered on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Industrial heritage at Notodden has its roots in four fascinating corner stones; Hydraulic power projects, industrial development, road & rail and the towns of Notodden and Rjukan. New and exciting car excursions every year and historical experiences in the heart of World Heritage.
