IL Dyre Vaa - Klatring

Litt om Klatring

We humans have hiked and climbed mountains ever since the first humans saw mountains for the first time - initially mostly for hunting or transport, but in the passage of time also for recreation, exercise and exciting nature experiences. Norway has fantastic opportunities for climbing outdoors, and you will find active climbing clubs across the country. Many options are available, everything from bouldering, summit climbing and glacier hiking to sports climbing and alpine climbing.

In recent years, many sports teams, youth clubs and others have made indoor climbing walls. There are also large climbing centres where all activity takes place indoors on a wall where the routes can be adapted to the desired level of difficulty. Climbing as a sport is physically demanding and places great demands on enduring strength, balance and agility.
