Innebandy

Floorball is a team sport that takes place on a flat surface using sticks made of plastic or carbon. The ball is small, hollow and plastic and has lots of holes. The field is 40 x 20 meters with round corners and enclosed by boards that are 50 cm high. Both teams have 5 outfield players and a goalkeeper who has no club.

A floorball match usually consists of three 20-minute innings. The match is officiated by two referees. The goalkeeper uses a helmet and fieldplayers under the age of 19 wear protective goggles. Rough play is not allowed because the fieldplayers do not wear protective gear. The objective is to about put the ball into your opponent's goal. A goal is only scored using the stick, and only the goalkeeper is allowed to stop the ball with his hands. The team that scores the most goals wins the game. Playing time is extended by 10 minutes if the match is tied after 3 innings. If there is still a tie, the match will be decided by penalty shots.
