Taekwon-Do is Korean and the name means "The Art of Hand and Foot Fighting". In Taekwon-Do you use your whole body, and you develop strength, stamina, mobility and coordination. At the same time as the physical Martial Art training, ethics and healthy values are communicated in a positive, safe and inclusive environment. Taekwon-Do is a varied, fun and exciting activity. The workouts are organised so that all age groups can experience the pleasure of being in physical activity on their own terms. You don’t have to be in top physical form when your start and no prior knowledge or experience is necessary.
In Taekwon-Do we have individual training in age- and level-divided groups, and qualified instructors will motivate and assist you in each training so that you gain good sense of self and confidence. As a sport affiliated to the Norwegian Sports Federation, athletes of all ages have access to many championships. Internationally, ITF Taekwon-Do is a sport Norway does very well in. Taekwon-Do is completely free to try, and there are no obligations during the trial period.
